This picture was taken to demonstrate an observer holding the vessel, looking in, feeling its surface with their hand while their eyes are covered by the entrance. While holding the artwork with both hands, the observer can feel the artist’s body described on the vessel and imagine what it’s like. By letting the others caress the vessel, a sense of intimacy as a very tactile experience is formed between the observer and the observed, the artwork and their own body.
